How we score
Each candidate day gets weighed against the five panchang factors plus event-specific rules. Inauspicious yogas (Vishti, Vajra) and Bhadra karana drag the score down.

An astronomically calculated calendar of auspicious dates for the moments that matter — marriage, griha pravesh, business, travel and more.
Bhadra (Vishti) Karana, Vajra and Vyaghata yogas, the wrong tithi for the event, and weekdays unfavourable to that particular activity.

A score is only as good as the inputs. Here's what we evaluate for every candidate day.
Lunar day · Shukla 2/3/5/7/10/11/13 favoured
Lunar mansion · Rohini, Pushya, Hasta auspicious
Sun-Moon combination · Vishti, Vajra avoided
Half-tithi · Bhadra Karana avoided
Day of week · Wed/Thu/Fri ideal for most events
Muhurat (मुहूर्त) is the Vedic discipline of electional astrology — choosing the most auspicious time to begin important activities. A real muhurat evaluates five panchang factors: Tithi (lunar day), Nakshatra (lunar mansion), Yoga (Sun-Moon combination), Karana (half-tithi), and Vaar (the day of the week).
Different events have different favourable combinations. Fixed nakshatras like Rohini and Uttara Phalguni are ideal for marriage, while movable nakshatras such as Ashwini work better for travel. Inauspicious periods like Bhadra (Vishti) Karana, Vajra Yoga and Vyaghata Yoga are avoided across the board.
ParivaarPro's Muhurat Finder is purely astronomical — Tithi/Nakshatra/Yoga are computed from real Sun and Moon longitudes, not from a static almanac. The score is event-specific, so the same date can score brilliantly for a Griha Pravesh and poorly for travel — exactly as classical texts intend.
